Cool-It Insulated bowls – the unbreakable dewar

Cool-It offers a durable and efficient alternative to fragile glass dewars and unstable plastic bowls, keeping your chemistry colder for longer. These compact, virtually unbreakable insulated bowls fit standard stirring hotplates, to cool and stir round-bottom flasks, beakers, or test tubes.

 

Cool-It Insulated Bowls keeps it cooler for longer

It will keep your sample below -70°C for up to five times longer than a plastic bowl, and twice as long as a glass dewar.

 

Large and small bowl options

  • Small Cool-It bowl for flasks up to 400ml
  • Large Cool-It bowl for flasks up to 2 L

 

Unbreakable

Cool-It bowls feature a robust, chemically resistant HDPE casing surrounding a high-quality insulated foam core. This tough composite construction delivers excellent insulation and, unlike fragile glass dewars, is virtually unbreakable.

 

Easy pour spout and handle

Cool-It’s unique non-drip spout and ergonomic handle make solvent disposal safer and easier, reducing spills and promoting a safer working environment.

 

Optional lid increases cooling time by 20%

The two-piece lid keeps reactions up to 20% cooler while reducing condensation and ice build-up on the flask, without obstructing visibility of the contents. It also prevents spitting from the cooling mixture, ensuring a safer and cleaner process.

Protects your stirrer and minimizes spills

Cool-It reduces frost formation on outer surfaces, protecting your stirrer from moisture. Its secure fit on the top plate also minimizes accidental spills, creating a safer and more efficient workspace.

 

Cool-it Insulated Bowls fits on all popular brands of stirring hotplate

Cool-It fits all leading hotplate brands with a 145mm Ø top plate and includes an optional adapter plate for compatibility with 135mm Ø top plates.
