eLAB Advanced Bioreactor

Designed with scalability and versatility in mind, eLAB® Advanced empowers professionals across academia and industry to achieve optimal results in their bioprocesses, establishing a solid foundation for achieving high-quality biotechnological outcomes.

Recognizing that the success of your project relies on precision and control, the eLAB® Advanced Bioreactor enables you to meticulously adjust your experimental conditions, ensuring reproducible results through an automatic control unit driven by an industrial PLC. This software system offers comprehensive control over crucial parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and agitation speed, creating an optimal environment for your valuable cultures. Additionally, when paired with a complementary module, its PLC facilitates the command and connection of up to 12 vessels simultaneously, rendering it an ideal choice for proficiently achieving diverse upstream objectives with utmost reliability and efficacy.

Furthermore, the eLAB® Advanced lab Bioreactor presents a versatile selection of vessels, with options in borosilicate glass and stainless steel, available in capacities of 1L, 2L, 5L and 10L. Carefully designed with the optimal diameter-to-height ratio, these vessels promote efficient culture growth and mixing, thereby facilitating optimal bioprocessing of both cellular and microbial cultures. Moreover, with the eLAB® Advanced Bioreactor Servo Motor, you can fine-tune your experimental conditions and achieve reproducible results, which provides unparalleled precision and versatility to the agitation of your cultures.

Some key features

  • Optimized working volume
The vessel design of our lab bioreactor is specifically designed to provide a diverse range of working volume options, including 1L, 2L, 5L and 10L. This flexibility enables professionals to adapt the equipment to diverse experimental requirements. By interchanging various vessels, they thereby provide an optimal solution for scaling up small productions.
  • Precision monitoring and advanced automation
The eLAB® Advanced Bioreactor is equipped with a set of digital sensors (pH, pO2, temperature, and level/foam), mass flow controllers, and integrated peristaltic pumps. Precision-engineered, the digital sensors and mass flow controllers act as precision regulators, ensuring that the bioprocess is always performing at optimal conditions and receives a consistent and precise supply of gases at all times; this is crucial for sustaining the culture at ideal conditions.
Complementing this technology, the integrated peristaltic pumps play a pivotal role in fluid transfer, ensuring that substances are moved efficiently and accurately within the system. Moreover, by reducing the need for constant monitoring and manual adjustments, professionals can focus on other critical tasks, leading to increased and consistent productivity and reduced labor costs.
  • Integrated intuitive software for operational efficiency
With a 15-inch touch screen interface, the eLAB® Advanced Bioreactor offers an advanced control system that includes the eSCADA R&ID and ADVANCED software. Serving as the central nervous system of the eLAB® Advanced Bioreactor, this software platform provides users with a comprehensive and intuitive interface for monitoring and adjusting key parameters in culture growth with real-time data visualization, trend analysis, and customizable settings.
The eSCADA R&ID software focuses on recipe management, ensuring each step of the bioprocess follows predefined protocols; meanwhile, the eADVANCED offers advanced monitoring capabilities, allowing users to keep a close eye on critical parameters and make adjustments as needed.
The synergy of these software solutions ensures that the bioprocess runs smoothly, minimizing the potential for errors that can disrupt the workflow. By reducing the likelihood of mistakes and associated downtimes, our lab bioreactor ensures consistent output, maximizing productivity and efficiency. Additionally, minimizing manual intervention leads to significant operational cost savings.

The MULTI module.
Bringing together up to 12 vessels.

eLAB® MULTI Module enables you to connect up to 12 different vessels simultaneously, all controlled by a single control unit, through the configuration of extra modules (one for every two extra vessels). Each module is equipped with 8 integrated variable-speed pumps and an internal temperature control system (vessel jacket recirculation) to ensure precise and consistent conditions during the fermentation process. Additionally, the system facilitates the seamless integration of 5 different sensors for each vessel, enabling the provision of optimal culture conditions to promote growth.

You can choose between borosilicate glass or stainless-steel vessels with working volumes of 1L, 2L, 5L, or 10L, allowing for versatility in experimental setups. This new and improved eLAB® Multi Module represents a significant advancement in bioreactor technology, streamlining control and providing enhanced capabilities for your microbial and cell culture research. It allows scaling up or having multiple cultures at the same time with just one equipment.
