Heat-On Block System

Heat-On Block System makes your chemistry safer, cleaner and faster

Replace messy oil baths and heating mantles while reducing spills with the Heat-On Block system. It accommodates vials, tubes, and flasks from 10 ml to 5 liters. It fits on all leading hotplates brands with a 145mm Ø top plate, and includes an optional adapter plate for 135mm Ø plates.

Benefits of Heat-On Block System:

Unique well design eliminates cracking of flasks
Heat-On blocks feature two probe holes for added convenience and optional detachable lifting handles. For enhanced safety, optional PTFE Safety Covers prevent contact with hot blocks.

Solid aluminum blocks provide even heating
The lightweight design allows rapid heating, with a maximum temperature of up to 260˚C. Heat-On accommodates vials, tubes and flasks from 10 ml to 5 liters, including an option for Florentine (pear-shaped) flasks.

Choice of block finishes
The fluoropolymer coating ensures excellent chemical resistance, while the anodized finish provides a durable and cost-effective alternative.

Heat-On heats hotter, faster
Heat-up tests show that Heat-On can bring a 250 ml flask of water to boil under 11 minutes, faster than both traditional oil baths and other heating blocks.

A safer, cleaner, and greener alternative

Safer

The risk of oil fires, burns from hot oil spills, and the mess and expenses of oil baths make them an outdated and unsafe choice for modern laboratories.

Cleaner

Heating mantles can be expensive, difficult to clean, and easily damaged by spills. They also tend to create hot spots, resulting in uneven heating making them less efficient and harder to maintain in the lab.

Greener

Scientist are increasingly choosing specially designed aluminum blocks on stirring hotplates to heat standard round-bottom flasks.
