Flow reactor for high-temperature, high-pressure reactions
The Phoenix Flow Reactor is designed for high temperature, high-pressure reactions, enabling novel compound synthesis in conditions not achievable with standard laboratory equipment. With an extended operating range of up to 450°C and 200 bar, it delivers exceptional versatility for both homogeneous and heterogeneous chemistry. Leveraging the advantages of flow chemistry technology, the system also makes chemical processes significantly safer.
Features of the Phoenix Flow Reactor
Extended chemical parameter window: One of the Phoenix Flow Reactor’s key advantages is its broad operating range. With temperatures up to 450 °C and pressures up to 200 bar, it gives you unprecedented control over your reactions.
Heterogeneous and homogeneous capabilities: The Phoenix Flow Reactor supports both heterogeneous and homogeneous reactions, giving chemists the flexibility to address a wide range of applications. Whether working with solid materials and catalysts or carrying out homogeneous reactions, the system adapts with ease.
Simple interchange of heated elements: The Phoenix Flow Reactor offers a broad selection of heated elements to meet different needs. For homogeneous reactions, you can choose PTFE, Hastelloy, or stainless steel coiled loop reactors in various volumes. For heterogeneous chemistry, user-fillable metal–metal sealed cartridges are available, while CatCarts and MidiCarts provide convenient and efficient catalyst testing.
User-friendly software interface and movable touch screen: The intuitive software for seamless control and monitoring of all reactor parameters. Its movable touch-screen interface allows you to position the display wherever it is most convenient
Modularity: The modular design of the Phoenix flow allows seamless integration with a wide range of instruments. This flexibility enables you to build and customize the system to meet your specific research needs.
Rapid heating and cooling: Significantly reduced heating times allow quick access to target reaction temperatures. The integrated cooling functionality ensures equally rapid cool-down, improving efficiency and turnaround between experiments.
Multiple temperature sensors: Integrated sensors positioned throughout the system provide precise monitoring and reliable data acquisition, ensuring accurate control of reaction conditions.
