The Mini Pilot Reactor features a user-friendly design
Save time and labor with Sakura and Sakura Mini’s user-friendly design. A single operator can complete many tasks, and modern features make reactor operation simple and efficient.
- Liftless stirrer coupling eliminates the need to lift heavy stirrer motors above head height, ensuring quicker and safer removal
- Easy vessel removal reduces time and labor. The vessel or lid can stay in place while the other is removed. A purpose-built trolley is available to maneuver heavy vessels effortlessly
- Novel run-off design of the removeable bottom outlet valve helps to prevent deposit build-up and allows thorough cleaning
- Torque-limited vessel clamps with intuitive indicators protect glassware from overtightening
- Extended range of ancillary glassware maximizes functionality, including condensers, distillation equipment, feed vessels, spray balls, collection vessels, and more
Optimized stirring with the Mini Pilot Reactor
Sakura and Sakura Mini offer a choice of three stirrer types; anchor, retreat curve impeller, and our proprietary Molepaw design. These give you plenty of options to optimize mass flow matters for your applications.
The innovative wing-shape Molepaw is suitable for the most challenging reactor conditions. It reduces mixing times in comparison to conventional three-wing impeller or Bendleaf designs, and can operate efficiently with liquid volumes as low as 3 %.
Quick vessel switch-out
Sakura Mini Pilot reactor features tool-free, quick vessel exchange technology, allowing vessels to be swapped in under 30 minutes. You can keep the vessel or lid in place while removing the other. A purpose-built trolley and oil-pipe holders make handling and changing heavy vessels possible for a single operator.
Best-in-class glassware
The double- and triple-wall vessels of Sakura and Sakura Mini are engineered to exacting specifications, delivering precise thermal control for your process. Optimized vessel geometries and minimized oil jacket volumes ensure peak performance from AGI Glassplant reactors.
Ring Baffle Vessel Technology
Sakura’s optional proprietary Ring Baffle Vessel Technology incorporates circular baffles within the oil jacket to create uniform flow of the heat transfer fluid, improving thermal exchange between the jacket and the process. Optimization wall thickness further improves energy exchange and mechanical stability of the vessel.
Cyclone Vessel Technology
Both Sakura and Sakura Mini double- and triple-wall vessels come standard with AGI Glassplant’s proprietary Cyclone Vessel Technology. This innovative design creates cyclonic flow of the heat transfer fluid, promoting uniform heat distribution and enhancing process efficiency.
