The ePILOT Bioreactor’s vessel design is versatile for adjusting volumes in bioprocessing. It allows for customization of equipment features to meet user needs by exchanging different sized stainless steel vessels for microbial or cell cultures, making it an excellent solution for scaling up production. (When changing vessels, acquire a flexible hose kit for proper connection and optimal system operation.) - Advanced control system
With a 15-inch touch screen interface, our pilot scale bioreactor provides an intuitive control system. This system facilitates the monitoring and adjustment of key parameters in culture growth, ensuring maximum accuracy in the process. - Precision monitoring
Composed of a set of digital sensors, the system controls and monitors pH, pO2, temperature, and level/foam in real-time. This level of oversight is a cornerstone in achieving high-quality biotechnological outcomes, which guarantees optimal conditions for the growing and development of both cells and microorganism. - Sterilization capabilities
The ePILOT Bioreactor ensures excellent hygiene and sterilization through the use of steam. Available in two versions: the “External SIP version” for sites that can produce steam, and the “AUTOSIP version” for sites that cannot, which comes with built-in electric heaters to create steam directly within the equipment. - Optmized agitation system
This pilot scale bioreactor provides two precision-controlled impellers: the 6-blade Rushton turbine for microbial fermentation and the 3-pitched blade for cell culture. Governed by a servomotor, these impellers maximize efficiency and productivity by adjusting agitation velocity and intensity, delivering a power of 400W for optimal bioprocessing performance.

With working volumes of 10, 20, 30, and 50 liters, the interchangeable vessels of the ePILOT® facilitate the transition between different scales of production or research, without the need to invest in multiple systems. The bioreactor is dedicated to precision and adaptability, with real-time monitoring through integrated sensors.
Key components include: external jacket, sparger, overlay gas inlets, rupture disc, addition valves, and ports for sensors, sampling kit, a bottom valve and a front-integrated sight glass allows monitoring of crucial parameters like turbidity and agitation.
