This Gas Module enables precise dosing of a wide range of gases, seamlessly integrating gas handling into your workflow. It supports a different gases, including nitrogen, oxygen, and more, allowing you to tailor the gas environment to your specific experimental requirements.

The Gas Module seamlessly integrates with other ThalesNano instruments and modules, including the H-Cube Pro and the Phoenix Flow Reactor, providing comprehensive control over your laboratory processes.

 

How does the Gas Module work?

The module works seamlessly with the H-Cube Pro and the Phoenix Flow Reactor, enabling the use of different gases at pressures up to 100 bar. This allows high-pressure reactions such as carbonylations and oxidations to be performed, significantly expanding the reactor’s chemistry capabilities.

  • A gas source, typically a gas cylinder, connected to the module provides a gas flow within a pressure range of 25 to 140 bar
  • Users can either select the applicable gas from the module’s list or define the properties of a new gas
  • The built-in mass flow controller ensures precise gas dosing, even at high pressures

  • Versatile: Supports 14 gases in one device, including compressed air, O₂, CO, ethylene, SynGas (for hydroformylations), CH₄, C₂H₆, He, H₂, N₂, N₂O, NO, Ar, and CO₂ (after preheating). Additional gases with well-known thermodynamic properties and compatibility can also be introduced
