Large-scale flash purification system. CombiFlash Torrent® systems from Teledyne ISCO offer the same ease of use and high reliability as the CombiFlash and RediSep® product lines, now in a large, development-scale platform. It provides rapid purification with one liter per minute flow rates, capable of purifying up to 300 grams of sample. Its 100 psi pumps accurately deliver a reproducible binary gradient. The CombiFlash Torrent system is designed to be flexible for a variety of large-scale purification needs, with various methods of sample introduction and collection.
The trusted RediSep® columns communicate with the system to quickly create methods without error through RFID technology. Column information is directly accessed via the RFID tag on each RediSep column for easy recall of methods. Large scale RediSep columns, with quick Luer connections, are available in a broad range of sizes and media types to suit various applications.
Safety
The patented active solvent sensing technology monitors solvent supply and waste levels, enabling true walk-away automation. Pressure and vapor sensors ensure safety by stopping purification if pressure rises or when there’s a leak. Fully grounded tubing ensures safe operation at high flow rates. Optional air purging of the column simplifies disposal after use.
